Hi, I’m Quinn

As a full spectrum doula, I care for people through all experiences of the reproductive journey, whether it be pregnancy, birth, postpartum, infertility, termination, or loss. Approaching my work through a person-centered, trauma-informed approach is integral to every interaction I have with my clients. My goal is to make those I work with feel at ease, even when experiencing emotional and physical intensity. Through grounded and compassionate connection, I help my clients understand their options and ultimately help them find confidence and fulfillment in their birth and parenting experiences.

More about me

I grew up in Seattle Washington, spending much of my childhood sailing on the Puget Sound, camping in the Cascades and exploring the city. As a child I loved nothing more than babies, whether it be playing with baby dolls, carrying around my toddler cousins (when I was barely bigger than them), or making my mom pretend to have just given birth so I could “visit” her in the hospital. As a young teen I started babysitting, and simply never stopped. I have been working childcare for at least 12 years, working as a professional nanny for the last 6, with experience in classroom and daycare settings as well.  I moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon, drawn by the familiar Pacific Northwest atmosphere and lively Eugene community. After earning degrees in Psychology, Cultural Anthropology, and Global Health. I completed my first doula training in 2019, recognizing that birth work is a beautiful intersection of my passions for reproductive health, infant development, matrescence, and nurturing people through major transitions — addressing gaps in care that are often overlooked by our modern medical systems.

In 2021 I did a secondary doula training and became a certified Full Spectrum Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. This certification deepened my practice, centering trauma-informed care while supporting clients through the full spectrum of reproductive experiences, from infertility to pregnancy, termination and loss. I believe it is crucial to center each client’s (and their partner’s, family’s or support people’s) lived experiences, recognizing how identity, beliefs, and past experiences affect our coping styles, access to care, expectations around birth, and more.

When I’m not doing doula work I am swimming in the river, reading and writing at local coffee shops, spending time with friends at potlucks and concerts, or on a walk around the neighborhood with a goal of petting as many cats as possible. I look forward to connecting with you and seeing if I would be a good fit for your needs! Please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
